I don't know how you do it, but you never stop being one of the most incredible people on this planet. Your background fully shaped you into the outspoken, no-filter person you continue to be. I am glad to have gotten that from you. The fearlessness to say whatever comes to your mind is bold and sometimes embarrassing, but hey, you have an opinion and you aren’t keeping it in.


Yeah, you might ask how things are going in the boyfriend department a lot, but you only want to make sure that someone is taking care of me. I remember You never fail to bring up school and make sure I am doing everything and anything to get ahead. You just want to make sure that I am achieving my dreams because you believe I can. You still tell me I look gorgeous when we video call. You never cease to make me feel special.
Never once did I wish for a grandma any different than you.



Thank you for supplying me with an endless amount of laughter and memories. You know exactly how to make tears spring to my eyes and make my stomach ache from laughing so hard. Your sense of humor is like no other. I wish that I could keep you attached to my hip at all times so that I am never without it. I find myself telling stories of you to people on a daily basis because I wish you were there to tell them yourself. And I find them laughing along with me.






I love our two-hour phone calls so much. It’s so nice to know I have someone who genuinely cares about me, what I’m up to, what I’m thinking. I love talking about the latest drama with you. I love that you never judge me, no matter how many embarrassing stories I tell. One of the best parts is, you understand me. You know all the family drama I’ve been through because you were there. You watched me grow up, and you know exactly what pulls at my heartstrings.


I always looked up to how you didn’t care what others thought of you. You didn’t care who got mad at you for things you had no control over. And you still don’t. You put being a mother and a grandmother first, and that’s something you have never failed at.
There are so many things that I could say about you, and none of them would do you any justice. You’re the most incredible human being. Ever. I will never be able to fully put into words how much you mean to me, but I can go on for the rest of my life trying. Let's be real – bragging about you is easy.
Know this, LALA ANING: if, God forbid, there ever comes a day when you don’t remember me, I will remember you. And it will be enough for the both of us.. I love you and be strong
